Mark R. Bavoso (94-) is a Northern California native and holds degrees in architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design (21) and Rice University (16/18).

His design interests center on the co-definition of building parts, standards, and processes between architectural practice and the construction industry, with a particular focus on bricolage, improvisation, recycling, reappropriation, and other alternatives to conventional construction methods.

He is a partner with Kira Clingen (94-) in the collaborative climate design practice Apocatopia, and has professional experience with AW-Arch (21-24), Michelle Chang (18-21), WW Architecture (15), and OMA (16-17), among others.
